I think it'd be cool if I could play my DVDs without the soundtrack.
I like playing old movies in the background while I'm working.
But I rarely do it, because I prefer to listen to music.
What I'd really like to be able to do is to play my DVD with only sound effects and dialogue, but no music, while listening to music (the music I listen to doesn't tend to have lyrics).
It seems like such an easy thing for DVD manufacturers to do.
I wish they would.
I know the score tends to 'make the movie', and that movies without score (or source) music can be 'boring', but I still wish I could do it.
I mean, the music from Akira and Hackers is AWESOME, but the music from DI.FM is BETTER!
Has my Top Secret Project been any use to you? Personally, I use it sometimes -- it seems I get artist/title in WMP (or iTunes) sometimes, but sometimes not.
I play via WinAmp, which always shows title and artist.. so I don't really need it.
I did run it for a few days, but then I restarted my computer, and forgot to run it again.. :P
