Umm... can a Mac turn itself on..?

I was just sitting here, minding my own business, when the phone rang.

It's my Dad. He's popping in.

I hang up the phone, and notice my Mac.

It's running the opening credits for Matrix Reloaded, the DVD presently in there.

My Mac hasn't been turned on for a few days.

I didn't turn it on now.

Strange.
