I'm running Win2k, not sure if XP supports this or not, but I really wish that you were able to move the icons for windows around in the task bar. Why can't I just drag items down there around to reorganise the order my programs are listed across the screen? I wonder how hard it would be to write an app that just enumerated the visible top level windows (i.e. the ones that have an icon in the task bar) and then allowed the user to move them up and down. It strikes me that this should be trivial.. but I might be talking out of my arse..
