I don't like it how people tend to define themselves, and their associations, not so much around who they include, but more around who or what they exclude.
Perhaps that bothers me because by the time you've decided to exclude something, you've closed your mind.
Closed minds are dangerous, leaving you with little room to grow.
I guess as you get older though, you don't feel obliged to grow any more. Outsourcing growth to the next generation. That's probably OK. Except if you get in their way.
Hmm... faith in the next generation? Big mistake? :)
