I blame you!
Some people just won't listen to reason. :)
It's a funny pattern people perpetuate...
Step 1) Person 1 says, "You must do it like this *always*!"
Step 2) Person 2 says, "You can do it like that if you want to, but you should take it under advisement that it's not as simple as you think for these reasons..."
Step 3) Person 1 says, "No -- do it like this *always* or you're stupid."
Step 4) Person 2 says, "If you're unwilling to consider that it's more difficult than you think it is, perhaps *you* are stupid."
Step 5) Person 1 gets upset because person 2 is being "intolerant".
...or something like that. Anyway, it's ironic that intolerant people are always the first to shout about someone else being intolerant.
Well it was a fun thread for me, anyway. My responses were validated by Ian, Mark, and you. Plus, we all got the chance to play the part of "person 2". We win! :)
Yeah! Go team! :)
BTW, I loved your use of "quod erat demonstrandum." It was so... patronizing! :)
Haha.
Mate, if you say I write crap code, then you'll get what you have coming to you!
;)
So where was this thread, I would like to read it.

John.
p.s. We all subsequently made up off list. And everyone is happy.
p.p.s. IDisposable still sucks dogs balls.
