I'm setting up a local web site for testing. Using the hosts headers.
I had to relocate the root folder.
So I deleted the web site, moved the folder, recreated the web site and reconfigured the server extensions.
The sever extension files got put in the old folder.
So, I deleted everything and tried again.
This time I deleted the web site, restarted IIS, moved the folder, recreated the web site and reconfigured the server extensions.
Same thing. Files in old folder.

So, I deleted the web site. REBOOTED, moved the folder, recreated the web site, REBOOTED, and reconfigured the server extensions.
Now it works. Files in the right place.
I told you IIS was shit.
